FRONT HIP - GROIN PAIN

Front Hip - Groin Pain

Pain in the front of the hip and groin is often due tight muscles in your hip flexors (psoas and iliacus), adductors and quadriceps muscles. A person could present with sharp pain when flexing or extending the hip. If you find yourself limping while walking as well, then you probably have sharp pain with it and are modifying your gait to lessen the sharp pain.

The video shown is a case example of frontal hip pain. I treated over four visits for about an hour each time working on different areas. This video is the overview, but I have a video for each visit below. A small percentage of you might want to see what a course of treatment might look like in terms of results from one treatment to the next.

I use laser treatment with these cases to loosen the tight muscles that ARE NOT flexible enough to provide proper contraction and stretch of the muscles. This restores normal motion and decreases pain simultaneously. If you have this problem, have hope that it could be solved. I believe these tight muscles are also responsible for destroying your hip joint which is often determined to be the cause of a persons pain. If the joint is replaced but the muscles remain tight, the results from surgery can be less than optimal.

Case Study of Treating Severe Case of Groin Pain

I recorded a four visit case treatment of a retired Ironman athlete with severe right groin pain. The video above gives highlights of the four visits all packed into a three minute video. But to see the details of his recovery, you can view each day in four separate videos. They're 18 minutes, 18 minutes, 9 minutes and 9 minutes consecutively. I don't show the laser treatment itself because it's not very exciting, but you hear how he improves after every ten minutes of laser. His entire case took about four hours of laser therapy. About one hour each visit.
