The photos below are all before and after treatment on the date noted. They are taken about 10 minutes apart on the day of treatment and with the instructions, "Breathe in, breathe out and let your body relax and slump" for ALL the pictures on every day both before and after treatment. Note the changes are greatest on the first day and continue though treatment.
Case 1:
Use the slider to slide the image left or right. Look at the first day: If you cover the second set (11/18/09) with your hand and just look at the 9/23/09 set (top and bottom pictures) you will see a significant change in her relaxed posture.
In the before treatment picture (upper) you can see she actually does slump when she relaxes. You can see that her head both is forward and tilts forward (a bit difficult to see because of the hair but notice how little of her neck you can see because her head both comes forward and tilts forward so that her hair hangs straight from her head to the front of the shoulder). You can also see that her chest is collapsed downward by the outline of her breast and the fold in her shirt. Along with that you can see that the collapse leads to her stomach sticking out by the curve in her pants. If you put a straight edge to the screen you will see that her body curves forward and is actually tilted forward from the feet and legs. There is more but those stand out.
In the after treatment picture (directly below) you can see that her head is more upright (remember she is standing just as relaxed and letting her body go but now it does not slump) and her head no longer tilts forward. You can see that her head came back because the hair is now hanging back farther and you can see more neck. If you compare where the hair lands on the shoulder you will be fooled because the shoulders are much farther back too. You can see the head is not tilted because of the angle of the chin. Look at her chest. Because she is more upright with no effort her chest is more out and the breasts do not droop downward. You do not see a fold in the shirt below the breast because she is so upright it holds the shirt up. (This is one of the most common things to note on a person with actual structural correction rather than just having bones moved around.) Note the stomach is flatter because her body is more upright (Unfortunately, there is not weight loss, it just looks much better when your body stays upright). Using that straight edge you will see that her body is much more upright and not leaning forward. What else do you see?
The basic point is that with the doctor actually making structural correction people's bodies all stay more upright with no effort starting IMMEDIATELY on visit one. Another way to say it is that with actual structural correction your bodies posture will stay upright all by itself without you having to work at it.
No one is going to correct everything on a person in one visit because there are a couple of decades of body activities throwing things out of place here but with actual structural correction occurring the body does get better and better and eventually not need regular treatment to be at its best all the time.
In this case with continued treatment you can see her legs tilt forward less and less and by 1/20/10 her legs are straight up and down but her pelvis is still rotated forward which gives her a sway back look and makes her belly stick out more. But look at how much more up and forward her chest is. She doesn’t have to lean back as much and her head is less forward as well.
With continued treatment her mechanics will continue to improve. She’ll stand up with even greater ease and breath better. She’ll have more room in her chest for her heart to fill with blood so when it contracts pumps a lot more blood with each stroke. Even though these photos don’t show it her skin color will become darker due to her heart pumping more blood to her face and the rest of her body. (No tanning needed)
You’ll also notice that the Pre treatment photos and the Post treatment photos improve with each visit. As she unwinds there will be times when her posture looks worse as her body corrects certain mechanical problems but once corrected her posture will be even better. Review the unwinding info for more information.
Case 2:
Use the slider to slide the image left or right. In the first images of 11/5/09 you see how far her head juts forward (Anterior Head Posture) and how her chest is dropped down and in. Her shirt is fairly loose fitting so it's hard to see her sway back (large curve in her lower back). Subtle changes can be seen over the next two months, but when you get to 1/15/10 you see a huge change in her chest. Notice how much more up and out it is. This is in comparison to the same shirt worn on 11/20/09 where there's a good difference. Her head posture looks the best on 1/4/10 but is getting worse on 1/15/10. How is this so? Her body is going forward as more things get corrected. Instead of being bad this is a good thing because so many things are getting corrected mechanically that her body is working towards releasing some big mechanical problem that when released will be a significant gain for her. You can also tell she's going forward because look at the way her back lines up with her buttocks. On 11/30/09 through 1/4/10 her buttocks is sticking back only slightly more then the spot between her shoulder blades, but on 1/15/10 you can see it's a greater distance. After another month or so her body should come back and those two points should line up better. And in the process her body will be more mechanically stable. These pictures are over a two month time frame and only show about 14 visits worth of care. Pictures were not taken each visit. Notice how the dowager's hump (hump in her upper back/lower neck) is gone by 1/4 but it's back again on 1/15. Why? It's all part of unwinding and will be gone again in future visits. The issue is that by 1/15 she's going forward which means her whole body is unwinding to a forward position. More symptoms and worse looks but necessary to get to a new level of improvement. If you look on the internet most everyone believes that Dowagers humps are due to osteoporosis. Not true as you can see here because osteoporosis doesn't change in two weeks. The fact that it can be changed is amazing!!! Since the word dowager is a technical term for a "dignified elderly woman " it began to be used to describe this condition since so many older women develop the condition. Guess what? It can be treated with Advanced BioStructural Correction™.
