Lower back pain is extremely common. There are mechanical and nutritional reasons for low back pain, both of which can be treated easily.
The three different areas of interest in the low back are the Quadratus Lumborum muscle, the Sacroiliac joints and the hip flexors (psoas and iliacis muscles) which you can see in the images and in the video.
It's safe to say that you if you already have low back pain and that you already realize that the muscles are really tight in the area where you hurt. Safe assumption? A good question is why.
Muscles contract when they're needed to keep you upright against gravity. If you happen to have a posture that forces certain muscles to contract "just to hold you upright", these muscles can hurt. Prior to your injury they were probably really tight but you didn't notice it. Then you made a certain move or got into a certain position and BAM! The pain hit hard. This is a mechanical problem for sure because it was due to a postural issue. This can be corrected with ABC in our office. Visit our website to learn more about this type of work that consistently and predictably fixes posture. It also prevents the old age, hunched over look which a lot of people get. They assume it's old age, but it's not. Check out ABC here .
Nutritional deficiencies can also cause muscles to tighten and cause pain. If you look through the other blogs that talk about viscerosomatic reactions you'll see that when certain nutritional deficiencies exist AND/OR certain organs are stressed that specific muscles that share the same nerve supply will contract. This can cause pain eventually, but often goes unnoticed for many years as the organs get more stressed. A very specific exam identifies those areas allowing you to get the exact supplemental herbs and enzymes you need to start feeling better quickly. For lower back pain there are three key areas that need to be identified.
The first area is the upper part of the Quadratus Lumborum muscle (shown in the third image with a purple highlight). This area contracts and is tight when your kidneys are under stress (kidneys are shown in the fourth image). They may not hurt, but they're contracted.
The second area is the lower part of the same muscle (shown with a green highlight). This area contracts and is tight when your liver is under stress. Again it may not hurt, but it's tight.
The third area is the Sacroiliac Joints (shown in the third image in yellow). This area is tight and contracted when you're deficient in Calcium. Now, let me be really clear here. This does not mean you need to start popping calcium pills. It won't work and you might start feeling sick. If you're deficient in Calcium, you also have a problem digesting protein and are going to be protein deficient. The only way to transport Calcium in the body is with a protein carrier. It also doesn't matter if you're eating three steaks a day. If you're not digesting this meat you are protein deficient. Don't panic because this is easily correctable. You just might not know how yet.
The last image shows the Calcium deficiency stress point. This area is tight along with the Sacroiliac joints. If you have tight hip flexors, which a lot of athletes do, then you will be very interested in fixing this problem. As an aside, another stress point is the Iliotibial band. When this stress point exists you have tight Iliotibial bands that can cause hip and knee pain. I discuss this in another blog article on Iliotibial band syndrome.

I had a 15 year old boy who had lower back pain. I'd treat him with chiropractic and his pain would go away for about 15 minutes then return. After three visits of this I put him on the Kidney enzyme formula and haven't heard from him since. His mother says he's been great ever since the kidney formula. He's long since finished the bottle, but I also told him to lay off the soda pop and drink more water. The kidney formula nourished his kidneys and allowed them to work MUCH BETTER. The extra water and less soda took a big stress off his kidneys. Bingo, pain solved. This boy would have suffered for years with low back pain had his kidney issue not been addressed. How many doctors do you know of that would have thought of this?
I've had other cases of back pain subside simply from enzyme nutrition as well. Other times it's a mechanical problem. Still other times it's both.
